The Gebrüder Fritz three exceptional boutique event venues in stylish historic Berlin buildings: at Checkpoint Charlie, at Hackescher Markt, and in Charlottenburg near Savignyplatz. These venues host conferences, meetings, corporate events, and celebrations that leave a lasting impression. Our venues combine professional event planning of the highest caliber with the personal charm of a private invitation—our experienced team takes care of every detail, from room design to in-house catering.

Our clients are an exciting mix of renowned companies: medium-sized businesses and large corporations, organizations and agencies in Berlin’s political scene, event and MICE providers, and established production companies.

What This Internship Is Really About

Before an event can even take place, someone has to receive the inquiry, assess whether it’s feasible, and turn it into a compelling proposal. That’s exactly your role: You’re at the intersection between inquiries and execution—at our headquarters at Checkpoint Charlie, right in the heart of our day-to-day sales operations.

Specifically, this means:

• You'll create new leads in our CRM system, Pipedrive, and maintain them
• You'll create quotes for our sales team—and in the process, you'll learn how to use CRM systems and modern, sometimes AI-powered quoting tools with confidence
• You will research inquiries and work closely with our project management team to determine whether and how an inquiry can be implemented
• You draw up plans and simple designs to illustrate feasibility and space utilization
• You'll take on small, independent projects—from the initial idea to the final proposal
• You'll accompany customers on tours of our locations
• You'll take the pressure off your sales team and help out with whatever comes up in day-to-day operations—including occasional scanning and office tasks
• If you're interested in social media or enjoy making videos, feel free to get involved—but it's not a requirement

This isn’t traditional event project management, and you won’t be working late at night to oversee events live. You’ll get a glimpse of that from time to time, if you’d like—if you’re more interested in the day-to-day execution of events, check out our separately advertised Project Management internship. Here with us, your focus will be on the period leading up to the event: from the initial inquiry to the signed proposal—working alongside your team, whose back you’ll have got.

That’s exactly what makes this position the heart of the company: Without a good proposal, there’s no event—and you’re right in the thick of it when an inquiry turns into an order.

What you bring with you

You’re structured and organized, and you can keep track of things even when handling multiple requests at once. You’re a good communicator, a quick learner, and eager to get a behind-the-scenes look at the events industry. You’re open-minded and a true team player who can be counted on. You have a strong command of written and spoken German, as well as English.
