EVENT & PROJECT MANAGER (M/F/D)

Berlin / Full-time

ABOUT US

We are Gebrüder Fritz — for over ten years, our name has been synonymous with exceptional event locations in Berlin. Our three venues are large, stylish apartments in historic buildings at the city's most prestigious addresses: Charlottenburg, Hackescher Markt, and Checkpoint Charlie.
We combine the charm of a private invitation with professional business events of the highest standard — from meetings, workshops, and conferences to stylish dinners and private celebrations.

We are looking for you as an experienced Event & Project Manager (m/f/d) to manage events in our largest venue at Checkpoint Charlie—someone who takes responsibility, remains confident even in challenging situations, and manages events at the highest level.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing events with up to 170 guests—from taking over from sales to final implementation and billing. You will be the central point of contact for our customers and will ensure that every event not only runs smoothly, but also impresses in terms of quality and experience.

YOUR TASKS

Project takeover & strategic preparation

You take over booked events from the sales team and develop them further independently. You think proactively, recognize potential, and ensure that a booking turns into a coherent, high-quality overall experience.

Conception and further development of events

You plan events with the standards of an event agency: structured, forward-thinking, and with a keen understanding of aesthetics, dramaturgy, and customer experience.

Independent project management on site

On the day of the event, you will take charge on site. You will coordinate all trades, make decisions, maintain an overview, and reassure customers and your team at all times—even in complex or dynamic situations.

Sales responsibility & upselling

You recognize additional potential within existing bookings and actively develop this further. You confidently advise customers on supplementary services, optimize budgets, and actively contribute to the further development of the project volume.

Accounting & financial management

You are responsible for complete project accounting, keep an eye on budgets, and work precisely, in a structured manner, and reliably.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Several years of solid experience in event management, ideally in a high-end event location, event agency, or in the banquet department of an upscale hotel
  • Extensive experience in independently managing large-scale events with many participants
  • You maintain an overview even in challenging situations and radiate calmness, clarity, and professionalism.
  • You work in a structured, forward-looking, and independent manner and naturally take responsibility for your projects.
  • You recognize opportunities for further development of projects and advise customers with confidence on additional possibilities and services.
  • You are resilient, resourceful, and solution-oriented—you tackle challenges actively and confidently.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a strong understanding of quality, processes, and customer experience
  • Fluent German at native speaker level (business language) and very good, business fluent English skills

WE OFFER

  • A responsible key position in our largest and most demanding establishment
  • High-level events in exceptional locations centrally located in Berlin
  • A professional, dedicated team with clear structures and high quality standards
  • Great creative freedom and independent work
  • Urban Sports membership as a benefit
